...What?

This was originally going to be a reference sheet for a different picture of EmptyShadow's character Kai. (Here's her page- [link] ) Then I just kept going and going and Kai just kept on coming. Then I get to thinking: If I'm gonna draw Kai, I gotta do it right and smother him in blood. Then I'm all, "dude, stick his bones out, that'll be cool!" The background was a total accident of gradients and smudging.

I started this around midnight and ended at 4:45, including other distractions. I really had fun doing this, but it's time to buckle down and work on my latest Gaia commission.
